Nice clean hotel with professional friendly and proactive staff. Breakfast was good with plenty of selections. Reasonably priced and a lovely view of the bay and the wonderful morecambe sunsets. Would definitely recommend this hotel

A wonderful stay. After struggling to find anywhere to stay, the hotel welcomed with kindness. The staff were so helpful and genuine, and the place was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. Highly recommend!
Although the building doesn't look much from the outside the inside is comfortable, nice beds, immaculate rooms and bathroom. Very hot showers, baths etc. Amazing views of the coast. Ample parking on and off site. The cooked and buffet continental breakfasts were great and they catered for my coeliac/gf food, which was greatly appreciated. Free WiFi - bonus. Located just out of the way of the hustle and bustle but close enough for a short stroll to the shops, restaurants and sites. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, kind and made us feel at home. Would definitely stay here again xxx thank you for a lovely short stay xxxxx
A group of 6 of us stayed at the Strathmore Hotel recently, ahead of our Coast 2 Coast cycle ride (Morecambe to Bridlington). The hotel is located fairly close to the start point of Th Way of The Roses route, which is why we selected it. It’s very good value and the rooms are comfortable with everything you need. We received an excellent welcome on arrival, and the stand-out member of staff was Keiron - he was very professional, courteous and friendly; he couldn’t do enough to help us with our bikes and any needs or questions we had during our stay … why can’t there be more “Kieron’s” in the world. Thank you for a lovely stay and such friendly, attentive service.
Although the decor is a little dated, the beds were comfy, the showers were hot, the rooms were clean, there was a decent tv and kettle and drinks in the room so it was fabulous for the price. The heating was on throughout the hotel, which was appreciated because it was so cold outside. The hotel is on the front and just a few mins walk to the town centre. The breakfast was a full English buffet, with cereal and yoghurt options too. It was a dog friendly hotel which was a bonus.
Just spent a 5 night stay with our Flatcoated retriever Willis to celebrate my husbands " special " birthday. What a lovely hotel. Rooms were clean,well stocked with tea,coffee and toiletries plus 2 towels each which is not always the case. The bed was comfortable and unlike on other reviews,I had no issues with curtains,carpets or decor. The staff were all very friendly andwelcoming of Willis and he thoroughly enjoyed his stay.Big shout out to the lovely lady manager who I think given half the chance would have taken him home with her. A lot of establishments claim to be dog friendly when they mean dog tolerant but not here,which made my stay a lot more enjoyable and relaxing. Just the right distance from the town for a nice evening stroll to get a meal. All in all a fantastic few days thoroughly enjoyed by all 3 of us from start to finish . Well done to all at the Strathmore
We stayed here for 4 nights, our 1st choice was cancelled on us n HR before we arrived in Morecambe. We were lucky to get this hotel. It is a lovely hotel friendly staff very clean. We had a seafront room we could see over the bay, great views
